W.B.:

You have a point; wonder why the late-era "Tee-Yay"/"Em-Tee-Yay" never purchased "Bison" for their express runs (IMHO, these popular, rugged buses would have done quite well; then again, there would be those who objected to no rear exit doors)

Imagine an early "Bison" in "Tee-Yay" green, or, as you noted, two-tone Ronan blue?Wink

Would have been interesting, to say the least......... Very Happy

I don't think the huge express buses they run today have rear exit doors. But then, it's a different world from when the "Bison" roamed on the range known as our highways and byways.

Interestingly enough, long-established Canadian bus builder PREVOST, in 1977, built a customized "PRESTIGE" (a then-current model) highway coach, with a rear door, for the Congregation Yetev Lev in "Noo Yawk".

The center door was specified to allow men and women to have their own entrance and exit doors................

Further...........

Regarding my previous post, it woul;d have been interesting to see other builders offer "highwway"-type coaches with rear exit doors, for use on suburban runs.

Then, again, the "suboiban" GMs did pretty well with just a single door, over several decades...............
