Coincidentally, the July/December 2009 issue of Motor Coach Age just hit the stands (so to speak) and features all manner of Trailer Buses.
It's another great job by Eli Bail and packed with the most fascinating and exotic coaches ever built.
Interestingly, the Cuban bus in the YouTube clip, referred to as a 'Camel' because of the humps in the roof, is shown in two variations on page 35 and both of which being pulled by circa 1990's Ford Tractors (probably gotten through Ford Canada).
BTW; the Havana Camels had a 'crush capacity of 300!
The issue is highly recommended reading.
Regards,
Mr. 'L' |
