I understand they are going quite fast. Anybody have information on how many are left, where they run, etc?

According to the TTC's April 1st service summary report (available here), as of March 1st there were 263 New Look buses still in service at the Malvern and Wilson divisions. Major non-accessible routes using New Look buses include 6 Bay, 32 Eglinton West, 52 Lawrence West, 54 Lawrence East, 102 Markham Road, 129 McCowan North, 90 Vaughan and 95 York Mills. TTC practice is to use older buses for both peak and base service, so the fishbowls can still be found seven days a week.
A previous TTC report noted that the Commission plans to retire 70 New Look buses in 2007, along with the remaining Classics and New Flyer D40 high-floor buses, so there will still be TTC fishbowls in service well into 2008.

Last I heard, there are more than 150 of the buses still in service and many are expected to remain in service for three more years. |

I saw a "Fishbowl" travelling north on Bay Street at Dundas Street about 21:00 last evening.
I preferred when the trolleybus was the prime motive on the Bay Street run. |
