Wow, sure a lot of vehicles tagged in Hawaii-Five-O. It seems like all the earlier episodes, the first 5 years or so, had Old Looks in them. I remember seeing the Flxible New Looks but not the GM Fishbowls. I also thought I saw one of those AMC "**** wagons" as Scott Richards calls them. Also, a few "parlor" coaches of various kinds. I'm presently on the seventh season this time around so I'll report on what I see.

Cyberider:

One interesting aspect about Old Looks operating in Hawaii is that, for a number of years, Hawaii was not even a State.

On a somewhat related note, in my collection, I have three vintage tin litho friction buses (the smaller a boxy "generic", the larger 4104s)

The two 4104s were (originally) "GREYHOUND" and "CONTINENTAL TRAILWAYS" buses, but, it was obvious that a Hawaiian sightseeing bus operator bought these toy buses in bulk, to sell as souveniers, many years ago

All thnree of these vintage toy buses have a strip of stiff laminated paper reading "SIGHTSEEING HAWAII" covering the "GREYHOUND" and "CONTINENTAL TRAILWAYS" lettering.

Needless to say, these vintage toy buses are pretty rare these days......sure glad I have three in my collection! Wink
