Here is # v600, a 1964 GM PD4106. Photo is from 1991 after the bus had been restored.

Jimmy:
A great picture of a real classic!
Years ago, I used to attend the old HOBOKEN TERMINAL FESTIVALS each year, and always looked forward to the vintage bus display.
I recall seeing a restored 4104 that had PS "wings" up front, but an NJT insignia instead of the correct "PS" emblem; no matter, it was still a beautiful bus!
Back in the very early 80's, I remember riding both a 4104 (ex-ORANGE & BLACK) and a 4106 (INTER-CITY?) on the old ex-O&B rush hour RIVER ROAD EXPRESS (todays #159R)
That sure was a loooong time ago, but am certainly glad for the memories.....

Sure is. And in the original Greyhound livery. What are the odds of capturing a photo of it in revenue service?

Sure looks like it! Saw it a couple of years ago, when it was on loan to the Museum of Bus Transportation in Hershey...there is another thread referring to "King Size Mack bus"....I thought it was referring to the MV620D, but it was about an earlier Mack one-off transit bus

One thing not shown in the photo of the PS PD4106...it had an emergency door on the driver's side, like all PD4104's did...a requirement that was on all New Jersey registered buses...the law was finally changed when the 4107 came out, and window exits were considered sufficient.

traildriver/all:
Regarding Newark as a destination for inter-city bus routes years ago, the following is from an late 70's issue of "MOTOR COACH AGE", from a feature on DE CAMP:
".......Newark has been practically eliminated as a destination for office workers, shoppers, and theater-goers alike. Rts. #145 and #146 are now operated every two hours, except during the weekday peaks...."
Interestingly, in 1965, DE CAMP purchased five TDM-5304's for the Newark routes.
These buses held down service on the Newark lines for several years before being sold to RED & TAN, where they became #'s 100-104.
In 1947, DE CAMP extended its Morristown line from its Newark terminal into New York.
Ten years earlier, in 1937, DE CAMP rerouted its Caldwell and Morristown lines to the then-new Penn Station......

Some more PS/DE CAMP/Newark trivia:
In the late 30's, the city of Newark assigned route numbers to the suburban carriers.
Numbers in the 140's were used to avoid conflicts with local lines or existing PS suburban routes.
DE CAMP's long-established Caldwell line became the #144 (later VANDERHOOF/MOUNTAIN COACHES/TRACKLESS TRANSIT), and the Morristown line became the #146.

Jimmy:
Hard to believe that, only a couple of years after that handsome Fishbowl was built, the great PSNJ would transcend into Transport of New Jersey, forever closing the curtain one one of the largest and most fascinating transit operators in the Northeast.
I well recall, earlier on, when new PS buses had the letter BEFORE the number (Z338, D900, etc.); in the later PS years, you had the letter following the number (such as 524A)
This rich and heady "alphabet soup" was indeed yet another aspect that made PS operations so fascinating, back in the day.
Certainly saw enough of the "Great Alphabet Fleet" in downtown Newark, once upon a fondly-remembered yesteryear.......
