.......yesterday, October 16th, marked the 51st anniversary of the "Amazins" wrapping up the World Series at Shea; there HAD to be a LOT of VERY happy Mets fans aboard the jam-packed IRT #7 trains that long-ago day!

Looks like that script on top of that Blue Bird looks identical to what both MaBSTOA used in their early years, as well as the 'Tee-Yay' from 1959 to 1966. |
