So far, the Mets are leading "My-Ammy" . . . but too, the "Boulevardiers" are pummeling the "Rock-ees." If this holds, "AYF's" will once again have to settle for half a loaf . . .

Yep, the Mets' win was definitively of the "squeaker" variety, not to mention the double-digit scoring more typical of a football game. But with their recent wins, plus Washington's losses, the Mets have climbed out of the cellar into 4th place. Whether this'll hold or not, is another question.

And yep, the "Boulevardiers" all but crushed the "Rock-ees" (who, incidentally, now hold the worst record in all of baseball). But again, for the obnoxious, insufferable and swollen-headed "AYF's," half a loaf. The paper tissue-thin "tin men" of "da Bronx" still haven't been able to get out of second place.

Both "Noo Yawk" teams are off today - but over the weekend, they'll be playing each other in another "Subway Series," this time on the "Boulevardiers' " home "toif." With "the Judge" back, who knows what'll transpire.
