While in Peru, here's an interesting page (w/photos and maps) of the long-delayed Lima Metro system, now finally in operation (rolling stock reminds me of contemporary Japanese electric MU equipment)......

......POWER STEERING indeed is the savior to the drivers who pilot such massive behemoths each day......I know I sure as heck coudn't!
Three-axle double deckers have been quite popular with Chinese toy companies for a number of years now (I have a number, and also have ONE plastic four-axle double decker that my (late) best buddy found at a market stall in Lima, while visiting his wife's family, some years back!
