Aside from a fare box, a change carrier, a few patches and such, I'm really not a great collector of memorabilia and only when something extraordinary comes along will I amuse myself.
Attached is a photo of an original cast aluminum Yellow Coach Builder's Plate that I just purchased on eBay which came from a 1941 Model TG 2706, Serial # 023 that operated as fleet # 273 for the Utah Lighting and Traction Company of Salt Lake City, Utah.
While I do have a couple of later GM plates, this piece is far rarer and more interesting because of its casting which really traces back to the Art Deco era.
If you're interested, the eBay seller - Member id czhogger - has another one just like it up for bid starting at $ 25 a few pages in on Transportation - Buses & Taxi Cabs.
